Dr. Kim Tucker graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry before returning to her hometown, Lincoln, Nebraska, to practice. In August 2024, she opened her own practice, Local Eyes. With over 24 years of experience, Dr. Tucker is known as a technology leader, using the latest innovations to deliver top-quality eye care.
Her honest, straightforward approach helps patients understand their eye care needs, providing peace of mind. Outside of work, Dr. Tucker enjoys time with her husband and two teenagers, traveling, tackling home improvement projects, and playing golf and tennis.

Dr. Cassity West began her optometry career after graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in 2022. She has a passion for building strong relationships with her patients, taking time to understand their unique eye care needs and tailoring her approach to each patient.
Outside of the office, Dr. West loves traveling with her husband, Josh, spending time with their two beloved dogs, and making memories with friends and family. She’s excited to welcome new patients to Local Eyes Custom Optometry and looks forward to being a part of their eye health journey!
